Celebrity cosmetic surgery: Sarah Jessica Parker

According to a recent survey around 50 per cent of women in the UK would consider having plastic surgery - hardly surprising when we're surrounded by celebrities who've succumbed to the cosmetic surgeon's knife.

Here we look at six women's surgical histories (okay, some deny it) and give you the lowdown on what they've had (or not had) done and what we think of it.

Take a look at the Sex And The City star back in the early '90s and her nose is considerably wider. Rather than go for radical rhinoplasty, she had a series of 'refinements'.

The results of what were probably three surgeries over a 10-year period crept up on us. However Sarah Jessica has spoken out against Botox, telling Grazia magazine, 'It's mad, no one can move their foreheads any more and their faces are all fluffy and bouncy.' However, she's kept her options open by admitting she might try it herself as age takes its toll - clever girl.

What do we think? Sarah Jessica's as stylish as ever and her approach to surgery is definitely the best one for someone in the public eye.
