Victoria Beckham's new denim line modelled by ballerinas
To celebrate her rebranded line, simply named "Victoria Beckham Denim," Posh has made a fashion-themed film short, now appearing on Net-A-Porter.
Serving as a custom intro to the video, Net-A-Porter's homepage features the former Spice Girl click-clacking across the screen in an all-black ensemble: second-skin denim, a shiny tank top, sky-high heels and oversized shades.
The posh, heavily accented avatar welcomes visitors to the site, then directs them to "check out [her] fabulous new denim collection" at a link above her head, which sends fans to the video short.
The artsy film is Beckham-free (unlike the video she created for her '09 dress line), and instead shows modern ballerinas dancing to a classical soundtrack while dressed in Beckham's new collection of super-skinny denim.
Five pieces from the line are available now on Net-A-Porter, with looser "weekend" styles, i.e., slouchy boyfriend jeans on the way.
What do you think of Beckham's elegant branding technique for her new denim brand? Should she have gone sexier or is it just right?
