Sarah Harding at the St Trinian's premiereBlack has always been the most flattering of colours, but there was no need to disguise Sarah Harding's fabulous figure as she walked the red carpet last night.

Sarah wore a shimmering black floor-length gown for the premiere of St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold.

However, it wasn't the off-the-shoulder sleeve, nor the cut-out back that drew the eye but the sheer covered side split, which duly worked the photographers into a snapping frenzy.Sarah's Girls Aloud bandmates were also in attendance, Kimberley Walsh opting for a traditional strapless black bandeau dress, while Nicola pulled off the prom dress look with style.

Black seemed largely to be the colour of choice on last night's red carpet as the likes of Jodie Whitaker, Zawe Ashton and Celia Imrie choosing the simple but flattering option.

Left: Gemma Arterton. Right: Paloma Faith

The ever stylish Gemma Arterton once again went for a classy and classic look with a simple but slinky Alexander Wang dress.

'Kooky style' award, though, went to Paloma Faith whose orange jumpsuit and bolero jacket was teamed with a fiery red beehive.

But it was Miss Harding who stole the limelight. The product of a manufactured girl band she may be but with her acting ambitions fast becoming clear, Sarah most certainly doesn't look out of place on the red carpet.
