Lindsay's collection 'a disaster' says Ungaro

Lindsay Lohan may find it tough when she returns to the world of high fashion next year.
Her first foray into fashion, as Artistic Adviser for Ungaro, resulted in a serious slamming by the majority of critics. And now the founder of the famed French fashion house has spoken out about her catwalk collaboration with designer Estrella Archs, labelling it "a disaster".
Speaking to the press in Lisbon on Monday, Emanuel Ungaro said: "I'm furious. But there isn't a thing I can do."
Strange as that may sound, Emanuel, who founded the label in 1965, retired in 2005 and the fashion house continues to use his name despite the fact that he no longer has any involvement with the label.
Seemingly keen to distance himself from any aspect of the new design direction, Emanuel said: "I have absolutely no link with that house" before adding that it was "on its way to losing its soul".
Lindsay's largely panned Spring/Summer 2010 collection was put together in less than a month.
She is expected to work on a second collection early next year.
